I suggest you go with this combo deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.239850 your saving almost $100 and your getting a way better CPU with more processing power quad core and the same clock speeds. Instead of that 9800GT get this 4850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150337 it's a way better card and it's the same price plus with the motherboard in that combo deal you can get another later and go crossfire. Also get two of these hard drives http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319 they are way better and almost 3 times more space and there cheaper. The PSU is good and will be plenty to run 4850's in crossfire in the future. Change these things and your system will be twice as good and at a lower cost.

+1

Also, would go with this memory, lower timings AND 1600mhz:

And you can get a 700W modular OCZ for same price as non modular corsair::

Hey thanks for that guys. I really am not on a budget but don't wanna go crazy with i7 and stuff. They are new and I don't wanna get involved with that yet. A Core 2 Duo will do great for now. Plus, I don't want AMD. No AMD/ATI please.

No offense I have never understood people like you that wont a computer put are set on Intel or AMD they are the same expect Intel over charges for there products. The is absolutely nothing wrong with AMD or ATI and they are both just as good as Intel and NVIDIA they give the same performance and are priced lower. I have never understood why people will pay more for Intel and get less performance instead of paying less for AMD and get more performance same with ATI and NVIDIA. It would be really stupid to go with that Intel CPU because you will not be able to upgrade to a better CPU when you get ready with out buying a USED one because socket 775 is almost dead and nothing new will be made for them. So why invest in dead technology when you can have the latest and greatest for less then the old stuff. If you wont Intel then I will respect your wishes but could you just tell me what your problem with AMD is because I would love to hear it. Don't take this the wrong way I'm just telling the truth.

AMD right now, is going to be backward compatible over socket 775, which is end of life. AMD processors are pretty much identical in performance to a core 2 quad. Bang for the buck area, AMD/ATI is where its at. Only reason im running a core 2 quad and nvidia card is that i built my rig over a year and a half ago, at this point in time Phenom II, and Core i7 are the only sane places to spend money.
