cheeeeeeap pc

Well first off where do you live so we can get an idea of the type of money you're working with.

well im in uk, i dont need monitor or any of that that crap, but basicly, just spec me a the cheapest pc possible that will still cope with new games, just a standard gaming pc i gussse, like...............

minimum would be
cpu 2ghz
512mb.....ect you get the idea

sadly, 512 prolly wont cut it. even for a 'barely' gaming pc. games like Battlefield 2 need 1G to run on med settings. as for a 2G cpu, thats fine. i have a 1.8 -slightly overclocked- and its fine. i also have a video card that cost $200+, and its considered 'mediocre'. either way, i dont know about prices in UK, but prolly about 800$ at the cheapest.(not including monitor, mouse, keyboard...)

When you're reading through, you may want to see my list as a reference as the cheapest build.

If you skimp on the DVD-RW to get a cheap DVD-ROM, and you ALREADY have a case and hard drive, then you could get around $230 for the price of building a moderate gaming machine. Overclock the processor and video card a bit, and you should be on your way.

I built one that will play about any game out for about $750. If you skimped on a couple of things on it you could easly get it to about $675 if not lower.
