ChkDsk problem

I opened up command prompt on a laptop and typed "fsutil dirty query c:" and drive c is dirty. So I scheduled to run ChkDsk on boot time, but this is all that happens, I can't run ChkDsk, and the drive is still dirty. I took the hard drive out and hooked it up to another laptop, I open up the command prompt and typed "chkdsk /f /r g:" to scan the dirty drive, the laptop finished scanning the drive, and I checked to see if it was still dirty and it wasn't. So I put the drive back into the original laptop and check if it's dirty on THAT laptop, and it is, I don't know why though, the other laptop just scanned it and said it wasn't dirty, but now this laptop says it dirty and can't scan it using ChkDSk. Any help on how I could fix this or what's causing this? Is the drive clean or not? Thanks!

What do you mean it requires administrative privileges?
Anyways, I managed to get ChkDsk to run on reboot by going into system configuration and allowing Safe boot in boot options. However, I did not turn off any power saving options on the laptop, and the laptop turned off while ChkDsk was running (im not sure if it turned off because the power saving options are enable on the laptop or because of something else). The laptop now powers off every time I turn it on, right after the Windows logo appears. I unhooked the drive again and now I'm running ChkDsk on it using another laptop.

Okay, I ran ChkDsk on it with another computer, but after I put in into the other laptop, it says drive c is "dirty."

I got ChkDsk to run on the laptop now on boot-up, it's still running. Hopefully this will fix my problem.

The laptop shuts down while ChkDsk is running, when I turn it back on, ChkDsk starts again...

It's a Fujitsu drive and I already downloaded the HDD diagnostic tool but I havn't run it yet because I already ran ChkDsk, and it seems like there are corrupted files on the HDD. Anyways, I will run the test for the HDD. The laptop also shut off randomly right after Windows loaded, and then 5 minutes after logging onto Windows, but now it's loading up just fine without randomly restarting so I think it may be overheating (I will maybe download some temp monitoring software). Also, the laptop doesn't restart when I tell it to, it just turns off as if I pressed the power down button instead, don't know why that happens. Random shut-down can cause files to become corrupt, right?

Also, avast found a couple errors and viruses on the drive (but couldn't remove them, I ran the scan from another PC), I will probably remove the viruses too.

I'll post back here after the HDD diagnostic test.
