i5 2500k will do anything just as good other than video creation and en/deconding stuff, but otherwise it depends more on the gfx card you are getting as they eat up watts, and if you plan to get an ssd get a z68, there is a nice one on sale now for a little while longer on newegg.

nah ive decided on that board atm wat wattage psu do i need? and can u recommend a decent compatible graphics card

depends on what you want to spend, are you using this for gaming, all that stuff. if you don't plan to game at all the igp on the cpu is good enough for you and you can just get a corsair 430watt i guess, if you plan to game you will need a gfx card, and if on high res (1080p/i) then you'l need a good gpu, which'll run you close to 200, and need a 600 to 650 watt psu.
