Choosing a right CPU

There was 2 pentium 4 "B" I know of 2.8ghz and 2.4ghz. I have never heard of a pentium 4 "b" 3.2ghz.
Yes, it was the Northwood with a 533 BUS. But 3.2GBs is generally accepted 3.2 gigabytes not a P4B 3.2GHz

Okidokie, so I'd recommend a 3.2GHz Pentium4-C coupled with an ASUS P4P800SE :)

Now, im really confused, cuase somebody recommended the 478 p4 3.0C...and now you told me the P4-C... :)
But what's really the 3.2GHz Pentium4-C , lga775 or 478?

and by the way, i didn't see that mobo support SATA?

The "C" (whether its after the speed or P4) means it is a northwood core which are socket 478. LGA775 CPUs are only "E" (Prescott core) as far as I know. The motherboard does have 2 SATA connections.

Does it really matter where the 'C' goes??? I picked 3.2Ghz because you decided to talk about 3.2

There is also the Gallatin core :)

There is also a S478 E which is the prescott core. And the Gallatin core was really knew I thought?
