choosing a router?

Hey guys,
So I have a question...
How can I determine which router is best for me? I have telus internet and am using the router that they provided but I notice that my netflix (and video rentals from cinemanow) need to buffer a lot.

Is there a router that I can choose to help me increase my wireless speed? How can a person find out which is best? There are so many options:eek:

Get something with dual band?

If u watching video on tv/ desktop, consider powerline adapter instead of using wireless.

First we need to know what internet speed you are getting. Go here and do a speedtest and post the results.

If your speed from the provider is slow then getting a different router won't help. However, if the speed from the provider is decent then the router good be the problem.

You have a decent speed, shouldn't be buffering too much. Are you getting the speed you are paying for or at least close to it? What web browser do you use? Have you done any general system maintenance lately?
