ok guys im lookin for a Video Card on Ebay for under like $25 or so dollars..

im looking for a AGP 256mb vid card.

i saw a nVidia GeForce FX5500 256MB in the shops for like 15 bucks.. is that good?

or should i get an ATI radeon version or something?

GeForce FX5500 is good if your are not a gamer. FX5500 will run old games without problems, but you have problems with newer games

For $15 it's a great choice, as long as you dont want to play the newer games. It will run the old games fine.

For under $25 thats probably the best you'll find, but if you can spend a bit more, the 9600 or 9800 series would be better.

The 9550 should be able to handle Aero Vista with no problems, so if you just watch movies and run vista on your computer, then go for it.

Ati 9550 are crap i tell you, i've RMA like 5 of those they aren't what they used to be get a 9600 or something higher

i play modern games like quake 4 doom 3 sometimes World of warcraft.

on my current card ( nvidia geforce 4 FX5200 ) they all run like crap..

so yeah

Well, if you buy one on ebay for less then $25....it's still going to run like crap. If you want to play Doom 3, and Quake 4. You're going to need to spend at least $100 to get nice performance.
