Christmas is coming and i dont know what video card i want!!!

ALright, here is myy delema(Spell check), christmas is coming on december25th(i think, it usually comes on that day ). What i want is a good video card. My parents say my christmas budget this year is about $250(cheaper is always better!) If you guys have any ideas on what graphics card i should buy let me know, also my mobo supports agp 4x/8x. Thanks!

If you can find a 6800GT 256MB, then get that. Although they are pretty hard to find now, so i would recommend the X800GTO.

there are agp version is just that you might not find them in stores for that price. the easy one to find is the bfg 6800gt 256mb oc but they're like 350

maybe but if it couldnt it wuld be ur processor holding u back. i think u culd squeezr a bit more out of ur money. try finding a cheap x800xl.

Ah, nuts, I didn't realize it was out of stock. Nevertheless, it might come back in for Xmas, plus you can search for similar products within your range.

Thanks for the ideas. I think 6600Gt as Shupola said. It seems like the best card for the buck. Also with the extra $60 i save could i buy a better processor that would replave my sempron 2300+? I could probly get about 100$ for a better processor. My motherboard supports socket 462. 100mhz, 266, 333,400 mhz fsb. It also supports duron, sempron, athlon, and athlon xp. I think you should probley save up for a mobo that supports 939 socket since 462 is going to be outdated soon.
