I didn't see whether it didn't even show the option to restore whether I just missed it, but it didn't restore my session.
After I opened it and saw that the session wasn't restored I backed up current session and current tabs and last session, last tabs. I then renamed the "last" files into "current" and copied them into the folder where chrome saves sessions, but that got me nowhere.
