Chrome installing itself?

So...
I've experienced a couple of times - that Chrome install itself.
I have no idea, how - but it bugs me. Especially because, I have removed it completely.
- Every file, every folder.

Is there a monitor program for watching, what programs has been installed, where from and even when?

Sometimes chrome gets installed along side other programs, CCleaner offers to install chrome at same time.

If you're ever installing a program and it asks if you want the "express" installation or the "advanced" installation, ALWAYS choose "advanced." Don't let the name scare you. You don't need to be a computer genius to use the "advanced" installation feature. Express installation will oftentimes assume that you want all the extra crap that they bundle with their "free" software installed on your computer. Advanced installation lets you choose to decline the installation of "extras".

ALWAYS choose "advanced" installation. Especially if the software you're downloading claims to be "free".
