I was looking at buying a tablet but then started thinking that a laptop may be more practical. My accounting classes frequently use excel although a fair amount of computer work is down on the textbook publisher website.
Can a chromebook use the web version of excel smoothly? I need to be able to input commands and utilize a few of their analysis functions for statistics. Overall it is basic math.
If a chromebook can do this or even a nexus tablet it may pull me away from buying a windows laptop that will largely see only a semster or so of use. After that it would be used while sitting on the couch watching TV, etc. THat is why a tablet seemed more practical. Size, portablility and simplicity were my goals.
