Ok I am new to this section of the forum b/c lately i have been having some problems. My pc has been starting to be slower than normal. I have downloaded alot of big files lately and my pc is mostly a media center now. I have a 320gb hdd with only 100gb left on it. I am pretty sure I have something that is infected. I ran vundofix, avg, avast pro, spyware doctor, and nothing shows up. I tried running combofix but it wouldnt run for some reason. I provided a fresh hijacklog and hopefully someone can help me out. I also had a weird occurance of conime.exe in task manager. I researched it and it is kinda confirmed as trojan that people use to gain access to your pc. I try to delete the file deleted in system32 but vista wont let me delete. Any help is appreciated and I will go to any lengths to keep my pc safe and clean! I am very patient and am willing to work to get this clean. Thanks in advance!!

Hello!
Please open up your HijackThis log and choose Do a system scan only.
Check this entry:
  • O8 - Extra context menu item: Add to Vbuzzer RSS list - C:\Program Files\vbuzzer\addurl.htm
Now close all open windows and click on Fix checked.
Reboot your computer.

Now tell me is your system running any better? If not, please post another HijackThis log.

I fixed the vbuzzer one and the one about onenote. I attached the new hijackthis log. Anything else I can do to make sure this system is clean?

Hello!
You didn't have to fix the One note line, but ok.
Your log is clean, and I can tell it with 100 % safety because the HijackThis log wasn't the only tool to pronounce you clean, as long as vundofix, avg, avast pro and spyware doctor haven't found anything.
I have a further advise that you could take as serious. Please do not use vundofix if not advised by some expert.
Your problem may be caused by some reasons other than malware.
The thing is that isn't our specialty here on Security subforum.
I will have to ask you do you experience any other problems?
And ask you who suggested you to run VundoFix and ComboFix?

I am so sorry for the addition, but I just remembered to ask you: how did you scan with AVG when it's not installed on your computer? Did someone suggest you to run the online scan?
Are you working with some other experts?
The last question isn't that relevant as it seems to me you are not satisfied with the expert's answer or he/she isn't answering :D
Please, answer the best you can.

I used ComboFix before when I had a serious infection and was getting crazy pop-ups in internet explorer. I found a forum when that happened when i just copied part of the pop-up address into google and found the forum and the infection was directly linked to an IP. I do have some experience and I was just double checking that my pc is clean.

I downloaded AVG ran it and just cookies showed up so i deleted the cookies and then uninstalled avg as it was not useful anymore. What can I say I get rid of anything that I dont use and keep my pc clean.

You do just fine :D
Great job, so you have some knowledge you say?
Nice!
I can now say your PC is malware-clean.
Problem clean?
Heh, well I hope someone else will be able to help you!
Try on Internet Discussion on this forum, maybe that's the right place for your problem.
