Clean computer

I've been using the family laptop and my laptop is just about fixed so I'm going to have to put this one back.

My worries are that some one is going to find some... unsuitable material on this laptop. How do I erase it all so there's no trace of any of it left? I'd die of embarassment if someone found any.

I took care of the shared folder, the incomplete folder. The cookies, the cache, cleared the histories on realplayer, quicktime and the downloading programs.

What else do I need to do? Is there some kind of program that can do the job for me? I am NOT a computer literate person.

Did you create your own ID, or use a generic one?

I'm not sure what you mean by generic but I did use the Owner account.

Ok, well you cant just delete the user...

You can clean the history the cache and and downloaded files. Other than that you should be ok. Tools, internet options, delete files.
