clean hard drive

I'm donating my old computer and want to be sure no information can be retrieved by the new owner. I need a good cleanup program on CD or DVD, suggestions?

You can almost always recover information from a hard drive that has been formatted. Although it's highly unlikely that the buyer will have the means or knowledge to do so. I'd just do a fresh install of Windows.

Killdisk does a good job.

To clean HDD use CCleaner or Glary Utilities (Which is what i use) and to wipe the HDD use Killdisk
