Hello,
I just did a complete reinstall of Windows XP and now I am having problems installing the Chipset drivers for my MB. When I insert the USB to update it it says "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem" Well I redownloaded it and I know it works fine on my other computer. I also do not have an internet connection on that computer so it's difficult to get anything done. My MB is a Intel 925CXV I know I have the right file it just refuses to open. I also recentely just put on there Windows installer 3.1, .Net Framework 1.1, Microsoft visual C++ 2005 redistributable. Not sure what else to do I think the problem was I installed off of a burned disc because my original won't work anymore. thanks in advance

I got it from a friend who made it a long time ago. I don't know how to copy it from my usb to desktop with only the keyboard but it worked last time i tried to do this with just opening from my USB

Try making sure your mouse is connected correctly and restart the computer.

Not sure either how to get to Windows Explorer without
a mouse. lol

I suggest you find a disc that you know is an actual Retail
Copy of Windows.

Who knows what you're trying to install there.

Best of luck.

I mean I did have a restore disk that I used before and I got the same error I don't think its the disk I'm not sure what it is

This is really my only option right now and I really do need to fix this ASAP because I have exams coming up it would be nice to have my computer.
