okay...i've went through everything on my computer and got rid of everything I didn't want/didn't use. and I have all my stuff and programs on a second harddrive. Is there some way to have my C drive gone through and have all the useless/extra/bad files removed? like, i have all the programs that i want on my second hard drive...though some i dont know about..

First off I would run disk cleanup (under Accessories > System Tools), then I would run a registry cleaner such as the one included with Tune-Up Utilities 2008 or CCleaner.

how can i get rid of files, that says access denied? like, I started to install mcafee but it messed up, so i just quit. and now there is a bit of the program that runs, and i cant remove the files for it.
