cleaning a psu

So I cracked open my computer to do some general cleaning because it hasn't been cleaned since I bought it 2 years ago, I got to the power supply to clean it out. I cracked open the top panel to reveal everything and saw the fan wires were just soldered in, how can I remove it without having to resolder the fan? also, what is the best way to clean a dusty fan?
 
Not telling you how to clean it but, a power supply will hold a charge even unplugged, dont grap the wrong thing or you will get a arm jolt.
 
A can of compressed air is the best way to clean a computer when spraying a fan make sure you hold the fan so it doesn't spin because it could spin faster then the bearing can handle and ruin it just stick a pen or something between the blades. You can also use a vacuum cleaner but I find a can of air to be faster and easier to reach tight spots.

But, generally speaking it is best to open the unit to clean it, as if you just use compressed air onto the fan from the outside you can accumulate dust onto the internal heatsinks and whatnot. Best to open it up, unscrew the fan, and clean that off as well as blow and loose dust off the heatsinks inside the power supply. Just make sure not to touch the cap's or your gonna get a very substantial shock.
 
air compressors work wonders, and its cheaper than to keep buying compressed air, u just got to get a nozzle with pressure control so that you dont blast something apart, and make sure it doesnt accumulate any water
