I just noticed today when I started up my PC that my 120mm intake fan was failing. Was running really slow..50rpm im guessing. I recently cleaned out my PC last weekend when I noticed the intake fan running slow (not to the point of 50rpm though). After that, it ran at full speed again. However, now it's failing. I'm guessing dust got into the motor. I read a little article a few months ago about how to clean out your fans without having to buy a new one. I can't seem to find it now. Tried to take the blade assembly off but with no luck.
Not a big issue if I have to buy a new one. Was only $12 if I remember, just a clear 120mm fan with blue led's. However, my cpu is running 5 degrees hotter now without this fan. I do have a back-up 120mm fan which I will install if I can't clean this one.
Thanks in Advance.
