Cleaning out the temp folder...

Is it ok to delete the contents of this directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Colin\Local Settings\Temp?

It contains over 100MB of files.
 
It is safe to get rid of it but you may see a slight increase in speed when opening applications and such. (Usually only large ones like Photoshop CS2). But yes, if your stuck for disk space this would be one of the first places to go.
 
You can edit your autoexec.bat or code a progii to delete content of TEMP folder every time you boot up win. By that way you will not suffer from applications speed decrease.
