Got a scratched Xbox 360 disc so it freezes at a certain point in the game. Coz I'm a cheap ass I don't wana buy another copy coz this is practically new itself.

Been lookin at a few vids on youtube which say toothpaste and peanut button get out scratches. I've tried rubbing toothpaste into the disc but it doesn't do anything, this disc just runs the same. And the same with peanut butter. I've tried continuous washing with fairy liquid, everything but nothing works.

Anyone know of any method that does get scratches out... or just makes the disc vaguely work?

Please help!!

Take the disk to gamestation,They have a machine called Diskdoctor or something, basicly it re-skims the surface of the disk and makes it look brand new again,If i remember corectly costs around £2 per disk.:)

Lol? I'm pretty sure sandpaper isn't a great idea. Honestly, if you really don't want to have to buy another disk take it to Gamestop.

Ok, but I live ages away from the shops so is there a way of doing it yourself. Someone said fine sandpaper?

No that wont work....neither does the Toothpaste or Polish method.

Not sure if we have Gamestop in the UK :P

or buy a disk resurfacer

You can buy Cd/DVD Repair Kits from Amazon,But if ypu read all the reviews they all say it does not work and makes the disk worse lol....i think the only thing he can do it take it to gamestation and have it done on that machine!
if that fails the disk is gone.
