im using an old version of MS office and when i save documents and spreadsheets i save it in the normal format as .pps or .doc (now docx) or whatver but as i look down the list im able to save it in way too outdated versions of ms word etc like ms word 5.1 or so. who uses that still?

anyways i was wondering if i could delete that entry and others and clean it up so im only able to save it in doc .docx and the regualr rtf and pdf type things...

is it easier that it looks or is it alot of undercover computer stuff that i wouldnt know how to access...mind you im good with computers i know alot of how to get stuff done.

do i have to enter regedit or can i enter some folder (like you do to change the send to-?? file folder to change where to send it)

is it easy or is it harder than it looks?

thanks!!

I have forgotten word 5.1, maybe it is very old version many years ago.

The 'save as' is word build in function, I guess it can't remove the standard one, maybe can add more into this list as plug in. It similar to 'copy' can't remove from Explorer context menu, but you can add more menu item into context menu.
