Clear CMOS

Hey... open up your case and there should be a jumper you have to switch ( sometimes a button ) and then take the battey out for 10sec ( also safe to unplug your comp ) then boot it up and the c-mos should of been cleared;)
 
umm i dont see any button i no what moBo i have after our big discussion lol can u tell me which button it just in case u forgot its the 741GX-M
 
i didnt need to take the battery out. 6-8 pins there should be two clippings just take them out and move it next to the next two pins and place it there for a few seconds and then place them back to the original position. another way is to take out the battery but i prefer the pins since is a hassle for me to take out the battery LOL.

either the battery or the yellow ting on the red arrow poiting. might be different location in the mobo.

Not many motherboards have buttons. Have a look in your manual for the specifics as each mobo may have small differences

i didnt need to take the battery out.
Some motherboards require it
