Clear horizontal line goes up and down video.

Hello,

I am currently running Windows Media Center Edition and whenever I watch either recorded TV or any video at all really on my computer, I get a horizontal line that travels up and down the screen vertically, continuously. This is most frustrating when there is a lot of movement on the screen. Any ideas as to how I can get rid of this?

Have you recently installed new codecs? do you know if you have the same problem with games? are the drivers for your vid card current?

As far as I know, it does not happen for games, and yes, my drivers are current.

hmm.. has this problem just happened? If so did you do anything to your computer around the time it started? And what about your codecs? Try a reinstall if possible.

While it happens with any video, not just recorded tv, it seems to only happen when things are played in Windows Media Center
