Is this a common issue at all, since basically the heatsink is releasing heat all over the place?
I have a Zalman 9700, which is huge, and an Antec NeoPower PSU. It doesn't have a large fan on the bottom, it has an intake at the front and an exhaust fan at the rear of the computer.
There's about 5mm - 1cm of clearance between the top of the heatsink and the bottom of the PSU. Bad? I'll take a pic if I need to.
