Clearing a Linux format.

okay i've sort of asked this but I think it got lost in the forum, so here we go again.

I -need- to get rid of linux on my SATA drive to back some data up on it before I reformat windows. so...my clearHDD programs won't see it because it's not in the right format...Linux won't reformat it to NTFS or FAT32 obviously...so I just need to be able to wipe it completely of any type of format and let windows format it, OR figure out someway to format it to NTFS...

are there any programs that can do this either from boot or from windows/linux??
