I have a never used old laptop “showroom condition” Clevo M760t running on an Intel 585 single core 2.167 Ghz cpu Socket P. I am running Ubuntu on SSD hard drive . Is there any chance of upgrading the cpu to core 2 duo. Do I need to keep to the same Front Side Bus of 667 Mhz of the Intel 585. Phoenix Technologies Bios Version: 1.00.05. Clevo co not offering any more backup. Managed to speak to Clevo UK service centre who was not 100% sure when he said Intel T9400 2,53 ghz might work.

    Thanks

    Ttony.
