Hi. so i have a iphone 7 clone (i did not buy it, but a friend tried to prank me with it) and it works nicely, but when i want to unlock the phone, i have to press the home button to wake it up, than i have to take my finger off of the home key, and than press it again in order for it to read my fingerprint. this takes almost no extra time, however i was wondering if there is a way to make it so that when i pressed the home key, it would wake up and read my finger print in just one click.

any advice is appreciated.

Your best bet is to contact maker of phone for help. Everyone else on this forum has enough sense to not buy nock off phones. :D

if you would have read the whole message i wrote, you would know that I did NOT buy it, but a friend pranked me trying to make me think he was giving me a real iphone 7 :)

but anyways, thanks for the advice. :p:p

but the truth is, its actually a usable phone! of course its not "Apple speed" but it performs well in asphalt 8 (3D racing game) like the phone never lags and the UI is smooth.
also the build quality is pretty much the same when your holding a real and a fake side by side. it actually is made of real metal, and alot of other clones are made of cheap plastic.
but its not something i would buy. it works well to prank your friends! i really got exited, but the more i used it, the more i could tell it was not a real apple product.

You're asking about modifying a gray market Chinese iPhone knockoff. What do you really expect? It's not a real product. Go over to XDA if you wanna hack it, because people over there are way more into phones than we are.
