Clonezilla Question

Clonezilla is a backup and image software (just incase you didnt know http://www.clonezilla.org/ ). Currently I have windows operating system. I would like to have linux. I was wondering if I could use clonezilla to save the windows operating system on a CD disk in case I would like to go back from Linux to Windows.

i don't think that you would be able to make an image that can re-loaded Windows, but if you just wanted to try Linux you could use something like the Wubi Installer http://wubi-installer.org/ it runs out of a program on your windows and lets you dual boot unto windows or Linux. If you decide that you do not like Ubuntu, you can just uninstall it from your programs menu in Windows.
