Hi,
I would like to copy the contents of my boot drive (OS, programs, etc..) to another drive, just so I have a backup.
The MB has only one IDE connector (for HDD and DVD drive), and several SATA connectors.
It would be great to hear from any members regarding copying an IDE drive to a SATA drive. Are there any potential problems? Would it be better to go IDE to IDE? I could, I guess, temporarily disconnect the DVD drive and hook up a second IDE drive and do it that way.
OS is WinXP SP2, MB is Intel D915GAV.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!
Regards, pdf.
