CM Elite 341 vs 334U

So I'm on a market for a cheap but at least half decent case... it's going to house, for the time being, the insides of the Ancient Machine and then, when it dies or I need to replace my laptop, my new build. I've pretty much limited my choices to the CM Elite 341 and CM Elite 334U... I'm kinda leaning towards the latter because I won't be limited to just mATX boards (when the time comes), but I'm wondering if anyone here has had either and knows how good they are? Also, do they come with any fans at all? I'm not looking to do any particularly exotic setups in the future, no watercooling, big graphics cards or anything of the sort.

Also, slightly off topic, but there wouldn't be any problems with putting in an older board, would there? It's got a normal-sized backplate for ports and has the normal mATX screw layout (as far as I can tell), so I can't think of anything, but thought I'd ask nonetheless.

The 334u has a rear 120 mm fan and thats it. As long as the old motherboard isn't an OEM, I would think there would be no issue with installing it.
