After my liquid cooling kicked out I decided to get a t4, as I don't ever over clock... I found that my Asus m5a97 evo has a mounting bracket more of a rectangle (more long and narrow) than that of the t4 (square). It would fit otherwise (no conflict with the ram)..... So sad lol.. What do I do? Can I purchase an adapted mounting bracket or is there no such thing and I need to get a whole new air cooler? /sad
Had to drive an hour to micro center to get it lol..

If I remember correctly with that cooler all you need to do is mount it like you do with any other stock AMD cooler. When you installed the watercooling did you take anything off?

There will be a long piece of metal that will go under the cooler, hook on one end then you have to hook the other end and rotate the clip and it will lock it in to place.

If you look at the instructions it will be listed as part D. The bracket you need on your motherboard may have been removed when the watercooling was put on.
