Cod 4 maps for the pc

Danny if you copy your activision folder from the c drive to you desktop and call it avtivision test you can then install the patch to it and play the new maps without effecting your original game . me and timmie have just had a quick run around on the new maps.

i installed it and i dont like chinatown OR broadcast, their terrible TBH

EDIT: on a sidenote though, they look absolutely brilliant.

I've tried them all, except Killhouse, Which I think looks awesome!

I didn't play much of Creek, but thought it was Ok, would be good with a few people on.

I wasn't too sure on China Town, Seemed HUGE!

Broadcast, I REALLY liked, I think that'd be awesome playing in a clan game! :D

It's up to you... There are plenty of server on the 1.6 Patch already, I'd go ahead and just install it...

The only reason I haven't installed it on my main CoD4 is because the [CF] Clan Servers are still on 1.5 at the moment.
 
the patch that was released Wednesday is the same as the one released Thursday the only difference is Thursday is the official release day. the only reason you shouldn't install the patch is if you play in a clan that is using dedicated servers then its best to wait until the clan servers are updated so you don't miss any matches you might be due to play, but if you really cant wait then just follow the instructions in a previous post in this thread.

No automatic update, though?

I tried installing the one Danny posted yesterday, and I got an error, should I not download from Nvidia?
