COD BLOPS 2 Release date 11/13/2012

In before the CoD argument...

I don't think I'll ever buy a CoD game again. Especially what happened with the last Blops and PC. Not a good combo.

I don't even get it, though. Why is it Black Ops 2? Just because its the guy's son?

But all-in-all, the game doesn't really appeal to me. I'll pass.
 
Well seems could be good, but I don't know why the graphics any close to BF3. Seems there may be jets in it, story may also be good, but the one thing is graphics. I was going to get this but will think twice. BTW BLOPS 1 was awesome.

Yeah course i would, id milk the shit out of it. I dont mind the games at all as i wont buy them. They dont hinder me in the slightest. The only thing that gets on my nerves is everywhere you go 10 year old screeching about how good cod is :P


For example when the first blops came out i went for a hair cut and had to sit there for 40 minutes listening to some kid go on how amazing it was, how great the gfx are and how he was going to buy a modded controller.

I just hate the fanboys as opposed to the IP.
 
Set 13 years in the future, looks like it was made 13 years in the past... I have seen higher res textures on Tetris.

They need a new engine, they need a new, original idea. It will be the same as every other CoD game, just set later, mark my words. Here's to still playing CoD4, where mods are keeping the game alive and fresh :)
 
Apparently theres 2 halves in the game :P One set in cold war (the horse riding part) and the part set in the future (2 guesses which part that involves) To me the trailer just looks like they want to be old cod, but they want to be battlefield. I dunno, feels like treyarch is confused.


And i agree with Aastii the engine looks its age now. They need something new. I would love a cod game that looks good and isnt so set piecey and showey. EVen if it was set in the future. But i guess theyre going to stick to the huge hollywood set pieces, rubbish graphics, and console orientation for the extra moolah....


Shame as i used to adore cod.
 
Have you noticed the CoD's are just like an Apple iPhone? Same stuff with different name. lol Just like the iPhone, everyone gets excited for that.
 
I honestly bought MW2 and MW3 for the end of the story. Probably will pick up both black ops games too when this one comes out.

not worth it, maybe 10 bucks for the campaign each but nothing more. The only incentive otherwise is zombies and they suck compared to WaW, made it way harder and no camping, just isn't as fun IMO. Multiplayer is still terrible and always will be after MW/4
 
You do realize that MW2 just recently got down to $20? That MW3 is still 49.99. And that it will stay there till whatever replaces MW for COD.

If you want to play the game, you have to pay the money. If you are too cheap to realize that, then don't play. And frankly there is no point in multiplayer as you just end up banned for jumping on a server that was hacked and you had nothing to do with it. Zombies and onslaught or whatever they call it in MW3 are perfectly okay. That is where I spend most of my time in that game.

And you don't need to camp. If no camping is a reason not to get it, learn to play the damn game.
 
I played BLOPS 1 and loved it, I didn't buy MW3 because it is overpriced here, BF3 (game+premium) for $60 and MW3 for $70 :confused:. That was the main reason, otherwise I would had a go on it.
I hope BLOPS 2 is priced nicely, dang while typing this I saw its for $65, I don't get it why don't they keep the price close to their competitors.

PS: All game pricing is from the retail stores in India.

It isn't expensive, but it is overpriced. I think it is around $50 in US, not sure UK.
BF3 was 30$ when I bought it and MW3 was $70, that to in the largest retail store and it was launch day, 25th Oct 2011.
I think I will save the money and put it in windows 8. ;)
