Hey guys,

i have a question aimed at those of you that are Call of Duty:4 Fans ;)

do Activison make the game maps and continue to release new maps for the game or do ordinary people mod the existing or create new maps themselves?

i realy would love to see more maps in this game.

I know in some games the developers allow maps to be made by anyone and released but in games like warrock this isnt allowed and only the warrock developers can make maps :cool:

i have only ever seen new maps on modded servers, and along with the maps there are sometimes pretty heavy mods, that change the game a bit lol.

on normal servers i havent seen any new maps.
 
hmm i see,i hope activision make some more maps that would be fantastic.

even if it was like a bonus/expansion pack which you have to buy i would buy it :)
 
On the Xbox 360 there's a couple of new maps that you can buy. They look really good in some of the previews I have seen.
 
I used to play CoD:UO and they released a map pack for that, a set of completely new maps. that was free on the pc :D

and there may be an expansion for the game at some point...
 
They're are custom maps that you can download and use them on certain servers. Theres also supposed to be new maps coming out by IW soon for the PC. Winter Crash is the newest map so far that has been released.
 
New maps would be great, ive always thought they were a bit weak the stock maps - not much to them! Some bigger maps would be nice aswell for sniping.
