I have to reimage my C drive, but I dont want to lose my XP in COD4, does anyone know exactly what file I need to save so I dont lose this information?

Do you you mean your save game in single player mode? Or for online mode? For online mode your account should be saved on the server, like an IM account.

Otherwise, you should find the savegame in the "\players\profiles\[profile name]\" directory in the game folder.
 
Hi dude, If its single player data you dont want to loose - copy:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players

If its multiplayer, im 99.9% sure thats its data stored online-BF2 is the same.
 
no its actually not stored online, If you reformat you use the same cd key you lose your info... not like bf2042, Im going to see if Red Union is right... I already lost my xp once dont want to again

Strange... I reformatted my PC and retained all my BF2 stats though...

Perhaps its different in COD4? If so - i stand corrected! :)
