Code 19 error on both disk drives

I have tried registry editor, i tried uninstalling hardware, i tried reinstalling service pack 2 from microsoft, i have tried everything possible. What can i do to take out both code 19s on both of my disk drives? I obviously cant put my cd in so there must be a way without giving it to a repair shop.


My disk drive---> lite-on LTN 486S 48x Max a dvd/cd-rom drive
My other disk drive----> _NEC cd-RW nr-9100a

When i click on device properties, it says a code 19------------->

Device Status: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the Registry) is incomplete or damaged. (code 19)

Currently using a windows xp home edition. If there is any more information you need then please tell me. I really need to burn a disk! I dont like watching anime on my computer.

What code 19 error ??? What disk drive??

Can you please give more problem specifications?? What actually happens?? What are you trying to do and what is the exact error you get???

We need to know from the information that you will tell if the problem is a hardware one or simply a software one in order to be able to give you possible solutions.
