Code 43 on my card

I just got a new computer this week, and already I am having problems with it. It was working fine, but then I was playing a game and the screen got all blotchy. It appears that Windows had a problem with the graphics card and disabled it, and it says in Device Manager that it is "Code 43". I tried downloading drivers for it but it didnt help. The card is a GeForce GTX 550 Ti.
 
I didnt check the temperature while I was playing the game, but I have a large case fan right over the graphics card. Also, I would not be able to check it now because Windows shows it as not working, leaving me stuck with 800x600 resolution. :mad:
