I couldn't agree more... you could add AOL and morpheus to that list, along with factory installed spyware. Especially from Dell, Gateway, and HP which are the worst offenders

and dont forget usenet, viruses over there gets out faster than it is being put on the antivirus database :)

I use Limewire and i never get anything Nasty:)

But i do be carefull what i download ;)

I expect we are all safe in assuming you are all only using Limewire to download non-copyright, publicly available information and data... yes? Of course, i thought so...

;)

I dunno...I use Limewire and Azureus (of course to download legal, non-copyrighted files, dragon), and I rarely get viruses. At least not ones of any consequence. I use avast! antivirus.

I have been using Limewire for a long time, downloading lots of LEGAL stuff.

And I have never gotten a virus or anything, AND I do not use ANY anti-spyware or anti-virus programs.

And I have never gotten a virus or any spyware.(knocks on wood).

there is nothing 'legal' on limewire really, and you probably have spyware you don't know about, id advise you have a look ;)

Usually my family or friends bring me computers to look at, they usually are asking why its going so slow. And half the time, they have stuff like google desktop, and norton installed. Then there's Bearshare, frostwire.
