Cold Cathode as lights...

I got a few questions about them.

See, as I got My coolerMaster Centurion 590, I want to give it a green theme. I gave the blue fans to my bro, and he gave me his plain black ones...

Now Im gonna get one Green LED fan in front, cause it looks cool, and the grill keeps the lights at a low level, just bright enough not to distract or hurt the eyes...

Thats Why I dont Want LED fans on other openings, as the lights hit my eyes directly...

So I was thinking about getting a Cold Cathode Tube...

What are the pros and cons?

thanks guys

ccfls are FRIGGIN BRIGHT! They are usually of a lighter hue than their LED counterparts (Red LEDs are Red, Red CCFLs are usually red-orange....etc). you can get sound sensitive CCFLs that pulse with music (or any sound really).

I've had my blue cold cathodes and they're pretty cool...I think it would look really cool in your case (assuming your case is in a location where you can see the side window)

They give a nice glow and aren't too bright on the eyes.

i dont want fancy stuff, just a normal light.

I know they bright, but, at least the light SOURCE wont be hitting me in my eyes (unlike LED fans...)

they make CCFL lights if you dont like the LED ones.

CCFLs cover almost every part of your computers inside with light.

I don't really like cathodes. They're really bright (sometimes too bright), and their inverter sometimes make loud buzzing noises, which is annoying as hell.

I want to get sound sensitive Cathode light someone give me a link? (From newegg of course xD)

Newegg is a pretty bad place to buy any case modding equipment. I would suggest taking a look at Xoxide.com for beginners, and performance-pcs.com if you want a better selection.
