Altec Lansing 2.1

so what's wrong?maybe my lcd not DVI cos this problem?

It could possibly be spyware running in the backround, or maybe your settings are turned up too high. That would explain why some games lag and others don't.

C&C doesnt take too much... even gernerals ZH ran on my 9600 and my 5600.... maybe get new video drivers?

ok........i try to use hijackthis and this is the log file
fyi i disable all at msconfig-->startup
may this will help u
;)

I'm not an expert, but I don't think that log is too bad, you might have a few items there that should be removed, but I don't think they are affecting the games.

As said by Ku-sama, did you update your video drivers?

A couple of things to try

1.Update video card drivers to latest

2.When you start to get problems check your temps of your card and your cpu.

3.Try a defrag before you play.

4.What size is your page file?

5.Have you got anything running in the background while youre playing?

6.You could have a look at the power supply if all else fails, your probably pushing a bit especially i its a cheep low budget one.

7.Make sure you have the latest direct-x installed.

@garyj881

thanks in advance.......but

hurmm........
or u mean virtual memory?.............and here goes for my virtual memory SS

It could possibly be spyware running in the backround, or maybe your settings are turned up too high. That would explain why some games lag and others don't.

it always happen when i wanna play strategy games.....it's something like when i drag my mouse over the screen.......it takes a few seconds to move where territory i wanna look for ,so the result make my screen movement,my soldier movement, even my soccer team movement(that time i used to play FM06) not very smooth.....kinda lag

arghhhh~~

but when i play cs,no lag are happens bcos u just shoot at your enemy.....u not using your mouse to drag to the side of your monitor . n of cos i'm using 100Mbps internet connection......my ping below 100

that 100Mbps isn't your internet speed, its the speed of your ethernet conection. Your internet connection speed is much slower.

i dont know how many games you have that are doing this but have you tryed reinstalling the games?? maybe you did something to the game files or added something that was too big for your computer to handle try reinstalling the games

oh another question....

did temperature give effect to my com's performance?

maybe that's y my com lag when in games

and my 3dmark05 didn't reach even 3000 bcos of this?

gimme detail explain and i'll tell my temperature....

thx in advance to whom who will gimme that detail explaination

:D

I'm not gonna pretend I'm an expert, but maaybe it's your RAM? I know you've got 2GB, but it's only DDR-nothing @400Mhz. I think that may be detrimental to system performance, does the OS like, flow fine? Is there a lag when opening windows, or is it just games? maybe its worth uprgrading your lovely RAndom Access Memory :
