Command Prompt question

Is the command prompt in foreign versions of Windows, like Russian and German, in English? I mean, for example, if I wanted to tell someone to run Checkdisk for errors in a German version, would I tell them to type:

chkdsk c: /f /r

Or would it be in German.

I suppose that's a bad example. If it were in Russian though, since their alphabet is different than the English alphabet, would their commands be in English or Russian?

Hmm, that's a good question. My guess is that the CMD promps are all in English no matter what language pack your using in Windows.

Have a look here. The commands are still in English. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHKDSK

Thanks. I wanted to troubleshoot someone else's computer who's Windows XP language pack is in Russian. That's why I asked. However, this is actually something I've wondered about for a long time, like if for instance, Russians use the Cyrillic alphabet to write code or whatever.
