comp build needed

Hey guys, this is my first time X_X I've no idea what's compatible with what. And for the past few days I've been going around this forum reading stuff.

Can you guys recommend me some builds ranging from $500 - $800, monitors and everything else not needed. I'm in California, US.

The pc will be used for daily use i.e email, surfing, word; however I'm a starcraft fans and I want it to at least be able to play Starcraft 2.
