comp freezes during wow

hi i have a pc and it freezes during wow play, its the kind of freeze where the mouse wont move, the sound freezes too and i have to restart the computer. what could be causing this? my system is:
athlon 64 3200
1 gig ram
nvidia geforce 6600
maxtor 160 HD

anything else you would need to know please just ask, thanks

Run ORTHOS, or download and install it first.

After that, get:

http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

While running orthos watch your CPU temperatures. If they are fine, run the GFX benchmark test, and look at your GFX temperatures.
