Is 650 USD bad? I need the computer for general purposes- not much gaming. maybe a little bit of AA or something
 
well he just said that in terms a lot of the people making comps are looking to do some sort of gaming. and 650 isnt a lot to work with in terms of a good gaming rig. like a middle-end cpu and vid card will consume majority of the 650. but seeing as you arent looking to do a lot of gaming that looks like a good build.

Does Raid 0 and no raid 0 have a big difference? Is there a need for that good of a PSU? Is the HD sata 2 compatible? In what ways is the mobo downgraded? Whats the difference between the burner u showed me and the one i had originally? Is it just the color and the price difference of $3? Just how powerful is the graphics card? Is the ram that u showed me the same as what i originally had except cheaper? If u include the cd-rom drive it would be 640.

Has a board that has many more options and it is very stable.
The NEC 3550A burner is a great burner. I'm not sure about the one you wanted.
The X800pro he put is better than your x700pro.
The PSU has 32A on the 12v rail which is great.
The processor he chose also is a little better because it's factory clocked 200mhz more.
RAID 0 is fast but doesn't make much stability. I mean that if the system crashed, you could lose data more easily.
