i need help on fixing my comp i just got it n i plug in everything but nothing starting up but there a greeen light on the mb. my mobo is intel DP45SG Socket 775 can anyone tell me wat the problem is it the mobo or somthing else? or is it the connection from the case to the mobo.

i guess to me if its not responding at all, follow the wire for the power button and see if its got a break anywhere. it might be shorting on the case.

Are the fans kicking on when you try to power it on? Is anything happening at all? Do you have the PSU set to the right voltage (115V for USA)? Check the cable from the power button to the mobo like Monolith1200 suggested and make sure its plugged in and not frayed or anything.

the fans r not kicking at all nothing happening expect the green light. and change the V to115? i dont quit understand that part all the wire r plug in right spot.

On the back of your PSU, the part that you plug the power cord from the wall into, there should be a red switch that says 220v or 115v, make sure it's set to 115v (for USA).

Recheck and make sure everything is plugged in correctly. make sure your 20+4 pin is in mobo and your 4, 6 or 8 pin. Is the PSU modular? If so make sure no cables are backwards (I've done it). Is your PSU turned on? There is a switch on the back of the PSU.
