what is it with this game,i install it,it then tellms me it needs to download some patches so obviusly i click yes,the patch is like 157mb,that finished then it restarted the game.


then it tells me it needs to download yet another patch around the same size of the other one.

then a 80mb something patch after than,then a 47mb patch ,then a 77mb patch and its never ending.

seriusly its took me like 3 hours to download all these damn patches on a 10mb connection and its still downloading other patches.

why didnt they just make one whole big patch,ive never had so much trouble with a game.
 
some games don't have a good patching system and you have to do all this but Company of Heroes is an awesome game and patching it will only make things better and more balanced.
 
It's the same thing that happens if you are installing WoW or some other games that have been out for a long time, they just go from the last patch released to save on server and coding space and I time I suspect. The last time I did WoW, it took over a day of d/l and installing patches to be able to actually play it, it sucked...
 
Tell me about it. At least you have opposing fronts. I don't and because they wanted to make it so people without the expansion could still play people with it I had to download a massive 1.7 GB patch. Plus all the others.... If there was just one patch instead of just having the incremental ones it would be a lot easier.
