i bought a case fan 4 this, because it doesnt have 1, it's the kind of fan that has the 4-pin and 3-pin adapters, but i took out my zip drive, because i dont use it, and try 2 use that power cord, doesnt work, because it has another 1 of those cords, like the kind that goes in the back of a floppy. i dont know where the fan would go!! it has 2 hook up 2 the motherboard somewhere, but i cant find where it goes, is there anywhere where i can 2 where it will show me a diagram of this computer?

a case fan dosent hook up to the mobo, it hooks up to the PSU

no, then you have a crap psu. there should be a molex (4 pin) like in your cd drive for power that plugs into the fan.

you should have more than 2 plugs, if not like way2evil said, your psu is crap

i could've told you's that, here's what it looks like, i goofed, it has 3 power plugs, 1 for the CD-ROM, 1 4 the Zip drive, and 1 4 the HD:

nice feet, well if you dont have a open 4 pin or 3 pin then you can either get a new psu or ditch the case fan

thanks lol, i have a couple pins on the motherboard, looks like the settings, like the kind that are on the back of a HD, like the jumper settings. i have 1 that is next 2 the CPU, and it has 2 pins with nothnig on it, soo maybe it goes there? but i plugged a fan in there, and it just moves the fan a tiny bit? like it's not giving it enough power 2 that set of pins or something.

ok, i got the fan today, and plugged it in 2 a power plug, then plug the other power plug, the female on the fan, 2 whatever it was i plugged it 2, and everything works. the fan came with a 3-pin, a 2-pin male, and 2-pin female, soo very handy in my case.
