Compaq Presario beeps

I had my monitor disconnected from my Compaq Presario SR1053wm. When i connected it back and tried to turn my comp on it just beeps. The monitor says it is ok, but nothing comes from the comp to it. The comp turns on and you can hear it running fast, about every 5 seconds it beeps for about a second. Anyone know what might cause this?

Try removing and reinserting your memory sticks first and then make sure all connections are tight. Do you have onboard video or a dedicated card?
 
I removed and reinserted the memory sticks and was able to boot ok. Will run some diagnostics check to see if any more problems.
