Compaq Presario Help

Hello all. Ive read the forums for a while but this is my first post.

Basically the keyboard on my laptop does work because I believe I deleted a file i wasnt supposted to, which means i cant type my password to log in. I tried to just repair Windows with the CD but its asking me for the file I deleted.

I'm just requesting the file EabUsb.sys which should be located in the

C:\program files\hpq\quick launch buttons directory. I would think anyone with a fairly new Compaq Presario would have this file. If anyone could upload it to a site and send me a link to it, it would be much appreciated.

make sure when you repair windows dont recover using the recovery console.

R u Sure the whole KeyBOard is not working, that file just controls the special keys on the KB.

if ur windows is booting up then ur KB should work.
