Compaq Presario SR5233WM

Hi all,

I have a base model of Compaq's SR5233wm except I added a ATI Radeon x1650 video card to it.

I'm looking to upgrade the hard drive from a 250gb to 1TB and this site has pretty reasonable prices:

I also wanna add another 1gb memory. Was wondering if anybody's done this upgrade on both and would there be any problems like power supply, air waves/fan or something? I've chatted with hp and the technician said it's fine.

If not, I've had my eye on Gateway's SX or DX series...

If you run X1650 with no problem, I don't see adding an extra ram and HDD would affect much.
